Set among acres of meticulously kept landscape, Boscobel stands high on a bluff overlooking the majestic Hudson River. It is a most romantic setting for a tented wedding reception. The site is also available for cocktail parties, corporate parties and other special celebrations.

The Boscobel site offers breathtaking views of the river, the Hudson Highlands and West Point. A designated area located southeast of the front of the mansion is an ideal location for a tent. Your guests may stroll the impeccable grounds, admire the view from the Belvedere, and enjoy the beautiful gardens. Over 600 rose bushes in the formal Rose Garden flower continuously from June through autumn. The Herb Garden is planted with flowers, vegetables and herbs, and will lush up until winter sets in.

Boscobel’s grounds may be rented for a fee of $5,000 from May through October with the exception of mid June through Labor Day when the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival is in residence.

The property may be rented for five hours, between 1:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Boscobel reserves the right to approve all arrangements for catering, amplified music, photography, decorations, etc.

Wedding Photography

Boscobel’s grounds are available for wedding photography by advanced reservation. A fee of $150 is charged for a one and one-half hour session between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. A fee of $200 is charged for a one and one-half hour session between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
