General Washington on the Hudson: The Battle of Stony Point

The grounds at Boscobel come alive with live military re-enactors.
General George Washington will inspect his troops. Encampments from the American Revolution and the Civil War will be situated throughout the West Meadow. Camp life will be demonstrated with inspections, formations, musket firings, artillery demonstrations, and drills. Members of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point Black Knights Drill Team are scheduled to perform.
The event takes place outdoors, rain or shine. Guests are also welcome to tour the Historic House Museum throughout the day, with expert guides stationed to offer insights.

1:15-1:45pm Addresses by General Washington, President Abraham Lincoln, and General Grant
1:45-2:00pm Drill by West Point Black Knights’ Rifle Drill Team
2:00-2:15pm Massed drill and weapons’ firing
2:15-2:45pm Hudson River Valley Stories by Jonathan Kruk
3:15-3:45pm BG Wayne’s Attack on British works at Stony Point
