With its breathtaking views of the Hudson River, Boscobel provides the perfect setting for Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival’s summer season.

Since 1987, Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival has brought world-class performance to the Hudson Highlands as the only professional, nonprofit Shakespeare company in the region.

The Festival has established a reputation for lucid, imaginative, engaging, and inventive productions staged in repertory under their open-air Theater Tent on Boscobel’s Great Lawn – with Boscobel’s stunning vista of the Hudson River Valley as the backdrop.

Before performances on second Saturdays, the Historic House Museum opens its doors for Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival guests. Explore the first floor of the stunning Neoclassical mansion at your own pace and direction. Expert guides will be stationed to welcome and offer insights. Admission is pay-what-you-wish.
