Celebrate summer in a style that harkens back to simpler times when friends and neighbors would gather on the village green for ice cream. Guests can choose from a selection of today’s flavors and those that were popular in 19th-century America.
Acclaimed violinist Gwen Laster and her quartet will perform an uplifting repertoire on the theme of “summertime and summer breezes.” Ms. Laster is a 2018 Puffin Foundation recipient and a 2018/19 Jubilation Foundation Teaching Artist Fellow. Musician Thaddeus MacGregor—known for his musical toys and top hat—will also perform charming, period guitar music.
Guests are invited to visit the Historic House Museum, which will be open for self-guided tours with guides stationed to offer insights.
