Take a trip through time. Explore the past through hands-on chores, games, and crafts. Take a flashlight tour of the Boscobel mansion and bring the memories home with a special craft.
Led by Boscobel’s Museum Educator, Lisa DiMarzo. New theme each month!
Admission includes access to 68 acres of Boscobel’s grounds, including lush gardens, a woodland trail, and the Great Lawn with its iconic view of the Hudson River.
Recommended for ages 5+. Advance reservations recommended.
September 10: Write letters using a quill, like the Dyckman letters in Boscobel’s collection
October 6: Create clay pots as they did in early American history
November 12: Create historic note cards with embellished dried flowers
December 20 : Make candles using the dipping method and pomanders (orange and clove balls made in early American history)
