Summer Solstice Yoga and Song with Ascend Center

Join Dani and Angela from Ascend Center for a special Summer Solstice opportunity to practice yoga outside on Boscobel’s Great Lawn.

Ascend Center’s talented instructors will be moving through a well-rounded asana yoga class led by Dani with the synchronized sounds of Angela singing live, all with the backdrop of the majestic Hudson River sunset in celebration of the Summer Solstice.

This yoga class is geared towards all levels with numerous options for challenges and moments for personal surrender. All participants will collectively have an opportunity to seal their practice with a Kirtan of call and answer devotional chanting.

Ascend Center’s Summer Solstice Celebration will pay respect to Indigenous people throughout the Lenape diaspora – past, present, and future – and honor those who have been historically and systemically harmed and forgotten. Let’s join together on the Great Lawn and pay homage to the sacred land that we borrow and to the power of the almighty Sun on the longest day of the year.
