Located inside the Visitor Center, the Design Shop offers a wide assortment of stationery, jewelry, apparel, home decor, glassware, and children’s toys, as well as a selection of books that celebrate Hudson Valley design, history, and nature.

Malfatti Glass – Beacon, NY
Also know as Ten Willow Studio, Daniel Spitzer, glassblower and former Dale Chihuly crew member, and Jill Reynolds, an award-winning visual artist known for her innovative use of flameworked glass, hand make heat resistant and dishwasher safe prosecco, wine, and gelato glasses, to name a few.

Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Co. – Kingston, NY
Owner Joshua Vogel created Blackcreek Mercantile & Trading Co. as a way to explore small scale product design and manufacturing, and to reconnect himself with the practice and idea of handmade goods. All of Blackcreek’s products are hand-made in their Kingston, NY studio. This season, the Design Shop will carry their hand-carved maple cutting boards.
